              Old man walks with purpose.

                    Drive a line like glass,

                Speed the future to the now, 

                

               That he did...           

                            the ass

                                  Behind him 

                               a path

                      he never 

           looks back,

To know

            And 

   To be,

          See

                 And be 

                     seen,

             and 

hear 

      and 

              think,

                  Now

                        we each

                               must learn again... 

                 to dance a dare 

                and 

    spin a yarn 

                      to deal with swamps and men,                      grow to yearn 

                              and 

                                  ghosts are hungry still, 

dreams dying,        flesh drying, 

              sticks and stones, 

                                       pearls... 

                               peas and peppers, 

                                            Dragonflies 

                                          and 

                    clouds, 

   

                     Old men 

           walked 

                   with purpose
