Loosing the grandmother tongue : a skip generational loss of oral traditions, stories, wisdoms, mores, norms, morals, virtues, values, parts of human nature, songs and games. The loss between generations seems to be effectively causing the progressive degradation and deprivation of the human spirit as well as the loss of essential skills, family units and community. There also appears to be a wide spread increase in neurological degradation and mental health epidemics as the traditions die out. Would Hari Seldon laugh at the though, or did Asimov see the coming storm?
